The Elle's Avian Essentials kit has a variety of different toys included, but it is never a bad idea to buy extras. I would recommend getting at least three, four, or five "Bird Toys" (the more, the better) and about two or so "Foraging Toys". "Bird Training" isn't necessary to purchase, but would be a neat addition.
Since toys need to be rotated through the cage for maximum enrichment, there needs to be a steady supply - instead of buying new toys frequently online or from pet stores, the Feathered Fun Box for Small Birds provides bird owners with a monthly shipment of toys, treats and products.

Since most cages and the Elle's Avian Essentials kit come with stainless steel cups, purchasing those likely won't be necessary. A food processor would be helpful to have for the chop if we don't have one already (though if we do, it might be helpful to have a second just for the bird's chop).
For the first 6 months, Harrison's High Potency Fine pellets should be bought. After this time period, switch to Harrison's Adult Lifetime Fine pellets.
RoudyBush Mini does not need the transition like Harrison's - consistently purchase this one without changing it.
Preferably, buy at least one of each of the "Treats & Seed Mixes" - alternatively: buy Kaytee millet or Sunseed millet; buy ZuPreem or Higgins; and buy Tropical Fruit Nutriberries or Classic Nutriberries.
